IBM Event Promo Results in Unfunniest South Park Episode Ever
After apparently getting spammed with a newsletter from business solutions firm iRise, a tipster noticed the clip above just before hitting delete. It promotes IBM’s Lotusphere 2010 event–which caters to IT, developer and business pro types–and in the process manages to bastardize Cartman, Kenny and the South Park gang. Something about Cartman stealing backpacks, a mysterious guest presenter and Microsoft’s Steve Ballmer driving a yellow bus with a leaking nose (a play on the event’s slogan “Lotus Knows”. Ugh.) for a hood combines to make for something truly unwatchable.
If you thought the G2 vid was a pain to sit through, try reaching the halfway mark on this clip, which is summed up best by Cartman himself when he says, “Destination: boredom.”
